How a Record Hunting Bag is made
Materials And Craftsmanship
The canvas we use is Italian double-layered waterproof canvas. The glue than bonds the layers of canvas together is what makes it practically waterproof. The finishing and general workmanship is of the highest standard; even the inner seams (normally left exposed on the inside of a bag) are all hand finished and covered. All leather used is of the highest saddlery quality and all fittings are solid British-made brass. These bags are made to last, and once used, broken in and a little worn, look even more fabulous. You won't be surprised to learn that the older an Original Peter bag gets the more desirable it becomes.

Utility
All heavy military grade cotton straps are fastened to the back of the bag (sewn under the thick leather trim) instead of the side as we found that this allows the bag to sit more naturally and comfortably over the shoulder and across the body. These adjustable straps are also long enough to allow many to be able to wear the bags on the back in the style of a rucksack if that is required. There is plenty of room to take records as well as other necessities for a busy day on the street or at work. We found that both 12" bags work perfectly as weekend travel bags, are great for carrying laptops (especially between two stiffeners) and of course, are an excellent size to take as hand luggage on airplanes. On the trial we ran with our Utrecht 12-inch LP Bag we were shocked at the vast amount of records it could consume, and also when not stuffed full of wax, how much practical carrying space it provided.

Manufacture
Each Record Hunting Bag is made by hand in England, by Brady Bags in Walsall. They are one of the oldest and finest manufacturers in the world. It takes five of their highly skilled people and seven unique and complex processes to complete each bag. The result is a record bag that will outlive you.
